I only wish that I could express my irritation with the system so eloquently as KC has, but frankly, I'm a bit too pissed and unstable to do so despite my writing talents.

I am currently part of a message board community started by ~LLToon *enigmawing and a few others, as well as KP Slash Haven and FanFiction.net. And I am trying to ween myself off of this nice little shitstorm of hypocritical neo-conservatism that is not-so-Deviant Art.

Here's an additional thought... Do away with the fucking "anonymous reporting" system... Deviant Art is run in and from and UNDER U.S. laws by their own TOS... and in the United States... we have the Constitutional right to face our accusers. I wonder how many people would be hounded off this site if all these trolls and shippers had to justify their claims to the content poster rather than just saying "it doth offend mine eyes" to some moderator.
